Pleosart, announces the opening of its Board-" Board-" ing Department on September 9th and the beginning of school September Septem-ber 10th. " AH the teaching positions have been filled and scnool is opening with a full force of exceptionally well trained train-ed faculty members. iS.- Mr. W. Kieth Throndson, who has s tieen with the school for the past seven sev-en years, has been granted a leave of absence and his duties will be as- ' sumed this year by Mr. Joseph A. Pon-cel Pon-cel as Acting Superintendent, who has been with the Academy for the past four years as Science Professor. Among the new teachers for the year are: Mrs. Hazeel M. Ewers, Creensburg, Indiana, English; Miss B I Margaret E. fiacklund, Springfield. - ' Missouri, assistant English; Miss Elsie Johnson, Broadwater, Neb., Latin; t i Mr. James A. Rose Traverse City, Michigan, Science; Miss Edythe Irene Cupp, Columbus Grove, Ohio, Household House-hold Arts; Miss Edith Brainard, Iowa. Spanish; Miss Margaret Thompson, Mt. Pleasant, Utah, Junior High Supervisor. Sup-ervisor. Virtually the entire -personnel of the returning former faculty members mem-bers have spent their vacations attending at-tending Summer School and are re-Hp re-Hp turning to their respective positions they occupied last year with the exception ex-ception of Miss Sadie I. Raw, who will K assume the duties of Girls' Matron. Ci An additional building is being erected on the campus to relieve the congested living quarters of faculty i members, which gives the school a physical equipage of eleven buildings. |
