Show LIS CLUB SENDS DELEGATETD MIAMI Dr. P. L. Hoi man was Wednesday levelling elected president, of the Mt. Pleasant Lions Club at the regular meeting held at the Overland Hotel. 'The other new officers are First vice, 'president, Joseph Matson, second vice I president, H. C. Jacobs, secretary, O. ' M. Aldrich; treasurer, A. L. Petersen lion tamer, Burke Mc Arthur; tail twister, F. J. Nielsen; directors; J. W. Locke, William Hansen, Fred Rasmussen, L. R. Christensen, and ,' Clarence Andersen. Dr. Ilolman reported the success of Nathan Long and Fred Deschner, Wasatch Academy athletics, and stars of Utah's state championship, tenck team, at the national interschol nstic meet in Chicago last week. Captain Long won first place in the 4 40 yard dash in 5 0 and 5, seconds, a new academy record. Deschner won sixth place in the short put. Hi-' Hi-' throw"Ws 46 ft. 7 inches. Fred Rasmussen local agent of the D. and R. G. R.
