Show FAIRVIEW Charles Herbert, eighteen month eld son of Ted and Lizzie Flowles Tomlin, died in Salt Lake City Wednesday Wed-nesday of whooping cough and pneumonia. Funeral services were held Friday at the home of the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Flowes at Fairview, Bishop John R. Graham of the North ward presided.' pre-sided.' Music was by the ward choir with a solo by Jesse L. Young, Speakers Speak-ers were Ezra T. Vance, Henry Jone5, and Bishop Graham. Prayers were by Fred Danielson and Elauson Stewart. Intenment was in the Fairview cemetery. Bishop Graham Gra-ham dedicated the grave. Besides the pa.rents two brothers and two sisters survive, Dean, Deel, Melva and Fern Tomlin. Mr. and "Mrs. Merril Fowles of Colton, visited friends and rela'ives here the past week. Miss Mildred Fowles and Mrs. Leda Strang came from Schofield to attend the funeral of their sister's baby. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Madsen of Provo, are visiting relatives here this week. Mr. Reese Bench of Provo spent ihe fore part of the week at Fair-view. Fair-view. Mrs. Harold Swan of Monronia California, is the guest of Mr. parents par-ents Mr. and Mrs. John W. Christensen. Chris-tensen. Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Carlston were Salt Lake City visitors this week. Mr. and. Mrs. Stanley Cox of Provn spent Sunday with Fairview relatives. Miss Verona Cox spent the last week end with relatives. She had as her guest, Mr. Leroy Shank of Logan. They went to Salt Lake to attend an Agricultural teachers convention. con-vention. Miss Belva Cox returned with them and will attend the M. I. A. conference at Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Loren Andersen of 'Spanish Fork are spending the wev here. Truman Wilcox, is the guest of his sister Mrs. Newel Cox this week. Word was -received here this week of the release of Reed Petersen fro-m the Eastern States mission. Mr Petersen has spent the past twenty-six twenty-six months in the mission field. He 'labored in Pennsylvania and in Massachusetts. He will arrive the last of the week. Mr. Harold Ashman of Fillmore, was the guests of Miss Verda Miner the past week end. Mr. and Mrs. Venn Cox announce the marriage of their daughter Er ma to Andrew Shepard of Mt. Pleasant. Pleas-ant. They were married in the Manti Temple June 8th. A wedding wed-ding reception was given in their, .'honor at the brides home, Thursday 'enening.
