In past years the Experiment Station has done considerable work on the codling cod-ling moth from which Professor Ha-gan, Ha-gan, the author of this circular, has summarized the essential information informa-tion for controlling the pest. A spray of "arsenate of lead about thiee pounds of paste or one and one-half pounds of powder to 5 0 gallons of water" is recommended as the most effective method of control. Tv.o sprayers will usually be sufficient. suf-ficient. The first should be applied three to live days after the petals begin be-gin to fall, and the second about ten days later.
