The dining hall wa: beautifully decorated in the nationa colors, and conspicuously placed was the school service flag containin1 thirty-four stars. The Wasatch or chestra, which played during the ban quet, was hidden behind a trellis work of red, white and blue. Covers were placed for seventy-five. Miss Nettie Beaumann, as president of the Alumni Association introduced Prof C. L. Johns as toast master and numerous num-erous toasts and responses were enjoyed. en-joyed. The new officers elected were Miss Margaret Wall, president; Mis; Esther Norton, vice-president; and G. Ronald Nilson, secretary and treasurer. treas-urer. In honor of her cousin, Mrs. Roy Bowman of Copperolis, California, Mrs. E. W. Wall was hostess at a beautifully appointed kensington and luncheon Friday afternoon. Tall vases of Richmond roses and white lilacs were used effectively in the decorative de-corative scheme. A guessing contest was enjoyed, also a number of Edison selections. Miss Margaret Wall and Miss Hessie Lovell assisted the hostess host-ess in serving a delicious luncheon. The lists of guests included Mes-dames Mes-dames Roy Bowman, E. B. Kelsey, A. Crane, H. F. Wall, O. F. Wall, E. C. Johnson, Fred Rasmussen, H. C. Beaumann, A. Aldrich, J. W. Cherry, J. W. McGann, A. D. Christensen, D. R. Jensen, G. W. Brand, J. D. Mey-rick, Mey-rick, Hannah Barnett, Rex Jensen and C. H. Denhalter. Miss Tina Ericksen was given a very pleasant Kitchen Shower at the home of Mrs. Elmer Johansen, Monday Mon-day afternoon. Narcissus and apple blossom made beautiful and artistic house decorations. An elaborate luncheon was served to the following guests: Miss Tina Ericksen, Mrs. Mary A. Dalton, Mrs. C. E. Noland, Mrs. S. M. Neilson, Mrs. Harry G. Ericksen, Mrs. John K. Madsen, Mrs. Wallertou Brinton, Mrs. F. G. Slaugh, Miss Annie Johansen, Mrs. Joseph Davis, Miss Marion Larsen, Miss Gladys Glad-ys Ericksen, Mrs. Olevia Winters, Mrs, Hyrum Christensen, Miss Hilda Madsen, Miss Ida Larsen, Miss Eva Ericksen and Miss Velma Tidwell. A splendid assortment of useful kitchen articles was presented to the honar guest. The afternoon was spent in sewing, giving advice andtried re-ceipes re-ceipes for cooking food as well as husbands, to the bride elect. The Mother's Day entertainment at the South Ward Chapel Tuesday was one of the most successful ever given in this city. About one hundred fifty mothers, yeung and old, assembled at 2:30 p. in. whre I hey were the guests of the Y. L. M. I. A. ollicers. An unusually interesting program of songs, readings, grafanola selections and a playlet, "The Old Maid's Convention," Con-vention," vas rendered after which visiting together and light refreshments refresh-ments were enjoyed-.
