Show NEIGHBORHOOD NEWS Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Lundberg departed de-parted for Ephraim Thursday. Vernon Clemensen went to Salt Lake Wednesday on a short business trip. Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Clyde returned Thursday from Springville after a short visit. Neil Madsen arrived in Mount Pleasant Thursday from Scofield. He w ill remain a short time on business. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Brandon who were married in Manti last week, came to Mount Pleasant Thursday. Mrs. Brandon was formerly Miss Hilda Hil-da Anderson of Fairview. Joseph Bramsted left Wednesday for his home at St. Anthony, Idaho. He has been visiting relatives in Mount Pleasant for the past three weeks. Has Hansen of Fphraim, father of Ora Hansen, local Consolidated Wagon Wa-gon and Machine Companies' manager man-ager was in this city for a few days this week, returning to his home Thursday. Mrs. J. S. Airmet returned Wednesday Wed-nesday to her home at Salt l-ti"ke City after visiting a tew weeks in this city at the home of her sister, Mrs. P. M. McArthur and also her mother, Mrs. Dorothy Swensen. The teachers of the Wasatch Academy entertained the Christmaa 'lub at the Girls' Dormitory YVed-lesday YVed-lesday evening. There were twelve latlies who spent the evening in sewing sew-ing many things for a future bazar I which they expect to have in the near future. A very pleasant social time was enjoyed. |
