OCR Text	Show POLICE RAZE LAKE RESORT. One of Chicago's Landmarks Has Been Demolished. Chicago. "Slreeterville" was invaded, invad-ed, its ruler captured and its citadel demolished Sunday, after a pistol battle bat-tle on filled-in land on the shores of Lake Michigan, almost in the beast of Chicago. The land, which is claimed by Captain George Wellington Streot-er. Streot-er. is north of the harbor and in the center of the fashionable lake shore residence district. Streeler and his w ife came three years ago. when their vessel was wrecked on a bar. The sand filled in between the wreck and the shore until their claim comprised property said to be worth millions of dollars.
