Show WASATCH K0TES By Lowe Ashton On Saturday, November 29 the Seniors of Wasatch are holding hold-ing a snow ball for the students of the Academy. A king and queen of each class were nominated last Monday Mon-day and voting will take place during the week; the winning couple being presented the night of the Ball. Candidates are Bob Vander-wagon Vander-wagon and Nadine Pape of the Senior class; Jerry Mallory anc' Eloise Rohn, Juniors; Earl Jamer and Alene Olsen, Sophomores: Britton Clare and Jean Conway Freshmen, and Albert Joseph and Donna Glidewell, Junio; High. Music will be provided by thr school orchestra and refreshments refresh-ments are to be sold at the Ball. The senior class of the Academy Acad-emy elected Nancy Gray of Tuba City, Arizona; Lloyd Kamps of Reoboth, New Mexico; and Janet Kinneburg of Battle Mountain Nevada; to take the nationwide pepsi-Cola Scholarship test today to-day at the Academy This scholarship carries four I vears of college, certain academ-I academ-I ic fees, traveling expenses at j the rate of 3 cents a mile for one round trip home each school 'year, and an allowance of S25 per month for the normal 36 i months of college. A total of 119 scholarships are , awarded each year. Sanford ; Langa of Maui, Hawaii, won a , scholarship last year marking the first time an Academy graduate grad-uate has won the honor. I |
