In Salt Lake city for this same period the permits amounted tc $10,280,00 compared with $7,-738,000 $7,-738,000 for the same period in the previous year. In Salt Lake City 987 new units were start-ad in the eight month 1948 perioc1 compared with 820 units durinf the same period in 1947.
