Pleasant Pleas-ant was held recently at North Sanpete high school. Miss Bernice Palfreyman, county home demonstration agent and Russell R. Keetch, county agricultural agent, were in charge of the program am; presented the following awards: In presenting awards from the North Sanpete area to entrants exhibited at the Utah State Fair, Helen Loye Jensen, Mt. Pleasant, Clothing 3, blue ribbon rib-bon on child's suit and red ribbon rib-bon on dress; Loretta Bohna, Clothing 2, blue ribbon on dress; Carlyle Olsen, Clothing 2, red ribbon on dress; Dawna Trus-cott, Trus-cott, Clothing 1, red ribbon on dress and apron. Group display on Clothing 2, Mrs. Johannah Hafen, red rib- J bon, with the following girls entering group work, Mary j Jensen, Joyce Stansfield, Loretta Bohne and Carlyle Olsen, all of Mt. Pleasant. One hundred per cent charters char-ters were presented to the Spring City Magic Cooking Club; Mt. Pleasant Sunny ' Sewers, Fountain Green Obedience Cooking Cook-ing Club and Joyce Neilsen, Clothing 3 Moroni club. j In stock raising clubs awards : were presented to Mark and ! June Christensen, Gerald and Allen Sumsion, Bobby Black- ham, Florence Olsen and La June Morley of Fountain Green and Moroni clubs, and to Glade Mower of Fairiew; Perry Black-ham Black-ham of Moroni is club leader. Leadership awards were presented pre-sented to Emma Hansen and Helen Curtis of Fountain Green; Ruth McKinney and Christie Beck of Spring City; Era Andersen, Ander-sen, Joyce Nielsen and Dora Morley of Moroni; Violet Larsen, of Fairview; La Vera Jensen of Milburn; Verda Jensen, Johannah Johan-nah Hafen, Norma Larsen, Lu-cile Lu-cile Nelson, Beverly Olson and Mrs. Rasmus Jorgensen of Mt. Pleasant. Following the program, Professor Pro-fessor Israel Heaton of U. S. A. C, delighted the group with stories, games, jokes, magic and directed group dancing. Box lunches were served at the conclusion of the entertainment. |
