Births Announced Mr. and Mrs. Pharis Nielson have announced the birth of a daughter on July 2th at the Mad-sen Mad-sen hospital in Mt. Pleasant. Mr. and Mrs. Geo. E. Coombs announce the birth of a grand daughter on July 29th in Salt Lake City. The parents are Mr. and Mrs. La Voy Coombs, formerly for-merly of this city. Social News Mrs. Zell Seely was hostess to the Gloom Busters club recently at her home. Mrs. Olean Allred of McGill, Nevada was a special guest. Mrs. Luvina Hansen and daughters of Salt Lake City visited vis-ited Monday at Fountain Green. Mr. Ivan Rasmussen and family visited during the week in Salt Lake City. Miiss La Von Nielson and sister, sis-ter, Marie of Moroni visited Sunday Sun-day at the home of Mrs. Gladys Winters. Mrs. Edna Christensen entertained enter-tained at a birthday dinner at her home Saturday. Mayor and Mrs. Lyman Seeley attended funeral services Saturday Satur-day in Spanish Fork for a cousin. Speakers at Sacrament meeting Sunday, July 29th were Cpl. Derle Hansen, recently returned from overseas, and Mrs. Dorothy Old-royd, Old-royd, President of the ward Primary Pri-mary organization. Mrs. Etta Hansen entertained at a birthday dinner in honor of her husband's birthday anniversary. anni-versary. A largi number of relatives rela-tives and friends were present and a most enjoyable time was spent. Mrs. Etta Rasmussen entertained enter-tained for twelve little friends of her daughter, Camille, whose 8th birthday o-cured Wednesday, Wednes-day, July 25th. Mr. and Mrs. N. E. Mikkelson and family spent Friday and Saturday in Ogden and Spanish Fork. i Y. W. M. I. A. Enjoy Outing The Moroni stake Y. W. M. I. A. are enjoying a three day outing at Boulger Canyon, east of Mt. Pleasant and Fairview. A program well filled has been arranged so that a most wonderful wonder-ful time is expected. Mrs. Dee Hansen and children spent the week visiting with relatives rela-tives in Ogden. Captain and Mrs. Newel Nielson Niel-son and daughter, Nancy Jean have left for Stockton, California where Captain Hansen has a new assignment. Mrs. Minnie L. Olson has returned re-turned for Idaho Falls, where she has been visiting for sometime with her son, Newel and family. |
