Show Mrs. Mcintosh Passes Away Mary Louise Guhl Mcintosh, 74, wife of Bishop A. ' E. Mcintosh, died at the family residence here early this (Friday) morning, following fol-lowing a prolonged illness of Blights disease and arthritis. Mrs. Mcintosh was born in Weber Web-er Canyon, May 27, 1862, a daughter daugh-ter cf Soren P. and Mary Anne Fetcrscn Guhl. The family made their heme in St. Johns, in Tooele Ccimty. She was married to Abraham! E. Fc'lntosh of St. Johns, January 1, 1384. They made their home in St. Johns for lour years and then learning through favorable reports1 of the progress of the sheep industry indus-try in the Northl Sanpete valley, they moved to Mt. Pleasant, in which place they have since made their heme. For half a century Mrs. Mcintosh has been a member of the Relief Society, many years of which she has served as a Relief Society teacher. She was the mother of seven children, four of whom with her husLond survive her: A Vance Mcintosh of Mt. Pleasant; Mrs. Estella Schofield, Elvin Mcintosh and Mrs. Grace Bums, all cf Los Angeles; 10 grandchildren, one great gnandchiln; two sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Johnson, St. Johns; Mrs. Lena Mcintosh, Builington. Wyoming, Wyom-ing, and one brother, Christian Peterson, Wyoming. Funeral services will be conducted conduc-ted in the South ward L. D. S. chapel Monday at two o'clock, with I Bishop A. L. Peterson im charge. Intel ment will be in the City cemetery cem-etery under the direction of the Jacobs Mortuary. |
