Show i MORONI 1 By Sppcial Correspondence I Mr. Stafford Blackham cf La-fette, La-fette, Louisiana, and Mr. and Mrs. Rupert Blackham of Tremonton, Utah, are visiting at the home cf their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Josiah Blackham Jr. Mrs. Thomas Attrel and daughter Phyllis of Vancouver, B. C. are guests of Dr. and Mrs. H. E. Dice. A number of Moroni ladies assisted as-sisted in cleaning the Manti Temple Tem-ple last week. The first half of the Sorosis club entertained the last half Wednesday Wed-nesday afternoon at a kensington at the home of Mrs. Thomas Bailey. Bail-ey. An enjejable afternoon was spent by all present. Refreshments wcie served. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Blackham announce the arrival of a baby boy born August 12th at the Dice" hospital. hos-pital. Mrs. Blackham was formerly former-ly Miss DeOra Anderson. Mr. and Mrs. Clark Anderson announce the birth of a baby boy. Mr. and Mrs. Ladell Christensen and Miss Vida Hardy of Ogden spent the weekend in Moroni visiting visit-ing relatives and iriends. Mrs. Frank Bruno and daughter Shirley visited last week in Provo and Heber City. Mrs. Olive D. Anderson received wcrd Sunday of the death of her son-in-law, Mr. Geor.je Hess of Ioaho Falls, Idaho. . The Tidwell family held their reunion Friday and Saturday at Maple Canyon. The Jensen family held their reunion re-union at Lagcon last week. A number num-ber of Moroni people attended. Miss Marion Wilcox of Salt Lake City was a guest last ween of her ccusin, Miss Beth Anderson. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Dyches announce an-nounce the arrival of a baby girl at their home. Mrs. Olive D. Anderson. Mi. Marvin Anderson and Mrs. Bernell Gowers wient to Idaho Falls, Idaho., Tuesday morning to attend funeral services for Mr. George He-h Mr. and Mrs. Ferry J. Faux of Spanish Fork and Mrs. Warren Nielson of Beaver were visiting relatives and friends in Moroni last week. They were guests of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jabez Faux. Mrs. Leander Olsen has returned home from California vhere she has been for the past eleven weeks, receiving medical aid. She underwent two serious operations |
