Mr. and Mrs. William Collard have returned "home, having spent the past two weeks visiting -n Idaho Falls, the guests of then-son, then-son, Loyd and family. Mrs. M. A. Mikkelson and Mrs Urell Mikkelson visited during tne week with relatives in Salt Lake City. A Christmas atmosphere pre-va.led pre-va.led in the decoration scheme Monday evening when Mrs. Catherine B. Holman was hostess host-ess to the Elite Club members a; ner home after a dainty luncheon was served. The evening was spent very pleasingly planning oheir holiday activities. Mrs. Gayle Bailev has left for her home in Salt Lake City, having hav-ing spent the past three weeks visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. F. Johnson. The ward Relief Society building build-ing is being cleaned and renovated renovat-ed in preparation for the annual Christmas party to be held Tuesday Tues-day December 12. A very fine Christmas program is being prepared pre-pared and all members are kindly .nvited to be present. Mr. and Mrs. Emerson Foote of Nephi visited Monday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Loren Jensen. Mrs. Zola Allen and sons of Santaquin spent Monday visiting visit-ing in Fountain Green with relatives. rela-tives. Mrs. Luella Mowers and children child-ren of Provo visited during the week end with Mrs. Mowers parents. Mr. and Mrs. John J. Oldroyd. Mrs. Leo Coulson and children of Idaho visited during the week with her mother, Mrs. Rena Crowther. Mrs. Mary Oldroyd has left for Provo to visit during the winter months with her son, Mr. Thomas Thom-as Oldroyd. The following motored to Venice, Ven-ice, Sevier county Thursday and enjoyed a fine turkey dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Willard Oldroyd: Mrs. Gladys Winters and daughter, daugh-ter, Vaunile, Mrs. Luvina Aagard, Mrs. Reva England and son, Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Hansen and Mr. and Mrs. N. M. Jensen. The Moroni Stake Primary Board in connection with the various ward officers and teachers held their annual Christmas party in the Municipal building Saturday afternoon gifts were exchanged and a very fine program pro-gram was given under the direction dir-ection of Stake chorister, Mrs. Emma Seely after which ligh refreshments were served. Mrs. William Sorenson entertained enter-tained her club members at a birthday dinner at her home Monday afternoon. A very enjoyable time was had uy all members present. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Mowers are rejoicing over the arrival of a baby boy born December 6 a. their home. |
