Show Pretty Church Wedding Given Of interest to her grandfather. Mr. A. E. Mcintosh, of this city, was the announcement of the marriaee of his Prand-dauphter. Miss Gwenn Schofiekl. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jos. W. Schofield of Los Angeles, California, to Mr. John Paul Artel, son of Mrs. John Artel and the late Mr. John Artel Sr., of Inglewood, California. The marriage took place in the Belvedere Ward of the L. D. S. church of Los Angeles on Friday, December 1st at 4:00 p. m. with Bishop Harold R. Harrison performing per-forming the ceremony. The church was beautifully decorated with huge baskets of fall flowers, and those attending came by special invitation, only. The bride wore a lovely, Street-length Street-length Jeanne-Barrie Model in Morocco Blue. Her hat and accessories acces-sories were in Navy blue. Three while Orchids made up her bridal corsage. She was attended by her sister, Maxine Schofield, as Maid-of-Honor; and by Mary Louise Las-con, Las-con, other sister of the bride, and Bebe Rader, as her two bride-maids. bride-maids. All three attendants wore fall outfits in contrasting fall shades, and all three had corsages of natural-colorfd orchds. Mr. Wilbur C. Lowe was best man, and the Messrs. Erwin Rader Rad-er and Charles Mason were the ushers. . A large reception was nel'l in the Lounge of the church. More than one hundred guests were served, and the numerous lovely feifts were displayed. After the reception, the young couple left for their wedding trip through the Western States, where they plan to visit such r.oints of interest as the Boulder Dam, Grand Canyon, etc. They pian to be away for two or three weeks. .
