Show i Mt. Pleasant Observes Armistice Day Armistice Day w-as very fittingly observed in this city WedrJcsday. Break of day w-as ushered in with a bombardment by the American Leicn and Battery D., N. G. U., who had charge of all arrangements arrange-ments lor the clay. At 10:30 an exceptionally fine . public meeting was held in the I Star Theatre. At 2 p. m. a fcttball j game between Battery D. of Mt. j Pleasant and Battery C. of Span- j ish Fork was otaged on the Wasatch Campois, from which the. local boys i emerged victorious. The day closed with a dance in the Armory Hall in the evening, at which event the American Lcgio.o Auxiliary gave away four valuable prizes. |
