Show Henry Mower Succumbs At Home In Provo Henry Mower died at, his homo in Provo at 9 p. m. Wednesday i'i i-eroliial heinorraiiL'. Mr, Mower was born at Spiingville February 4, lti;'8, the son of Henry Mower and Alice liurto.li M:wer. The family moved to Hilivlcw in lRtil where lie man leil Ellen Kelsoy on July 10, 187(i. To this union nine children were born. Ellen died October 28, 18H9. On February 27, 18U0 he married Satnh Jane Tucker in the Manti Temple. To this union was b rn 10 children. Sarah Jane died December 1. 1903. On May 25, 1004 he married Frances Ann Mower, his brother's widow, who with the following children survives him: Mrs. Alice Fletcher, Mrs. Beatrice Twilling, Mrs. Verda Hales and Mrs. Moil Hurnsldo, Sacramento, California: Lafayette Mower, Superior, Wyoming: Wyom-ing: M.s. May Harris, Provo; Mrs. Harriette Holliman, a.istle Gate; Mrs. Arba Snell, Clear Creek; Mrs. Climcna Smith, Orson, Ray and Holxr Mower cf Fairvlew. He also leaves 8 step-sans and daughters, 75 STniHiuilUiieiv and 43 great-grandchildren, who 1. Ved and respected him as a father. He was a laithful and active Latter Day Saint, working especially espec-ially among the sick, needy and imfortunate. He spent two years doing ordinance work in the Manti Temple. He was always interested end active in civic affairs. Mr. Mower spent the major part of his life at Fairview, where he was loved and respected by a hest of rirnds and relatives. He has lived in Provi but a few years, and he returned to his farm In Fairview rach sun:nicr. Funeral services will be held in 'he Fairview South ward chapel Sunday at 2:30. |
