This is the way each feature will operate, Director Peterson points out: Acreage Allottments: The act provides for allotting to each farmer farm-er a specific acreage of grain each year, te sum total of allottmeints providing for production of enough wheat for both domestic consumption consump-tion and exports and for a substantial sub-stantial surj.lus reserve. The act j will each year aim ,to . provide a supply of around 900,000,000 bushels o: the grain. Wheat allottmenU iwill be made for 1938, but only for ithe purpose of computing AAA payment pay-ment to farmers. The act provides 'that compliance for 1938 shall be c necked against the general soil-depleting soil-depleting goal for the . Individual ( farm.
