Show Local CCC j News Items Kenneth D. Jamison arrived at the local CCC. Camp Tnursday morning ncm Salt Lake City, Utah, on a tniity day appointment as Camp Mechanic. Mr. Jamison re-p.aces re-p.aces Mr. Bryant K. Lund who has oeen cauv mechanic at this camp tor the past year and who is being i.'jnslerred to the Leeds CCG oa;.r.p to be the mechanic at that camp. Nr. Lund will leave Mt. Pleasant for Leeds Sunday, March 13, 1938. First Lieutenant Frederick G. Lamb, Catholic Chaplain, was a visitor vis-itor at the local CCC Camp Mon-d.y Mon-d.y evening and Tuesday morning. Monday evening Chaplain Lamb &ave tr.e men of the company a t.eat to several movie pictures, Ahlch were enjoyed by tho entire company. Tuesday morning church se.vices were held for the men of he company. M . Dale Shocklcy and Mr. Lane from the Regional Office at Salt Lake City were visitors in camp last Saturday. A conference was held discussing work operations for the camp. Lieutenant Wilbur R. Carter, ac-c-inpanied by Enrollee Wallock, visited In Salt Lake City and Fort Douglas. Utah, Thuisday of this week. Mr. Schott airlved at the local camp Wednesday to inventory the number cl trees that this camp has in their nursery. |
