A surprise party was given last Saiuraay evening m honor of Miss Delia Robertson, it being her birthday birth-day anniversary. The time was ;pent in chatting after which delicious de-licious refreshments were served. Mrs. Lars Mikkelson and Jasper H. Robertson are both seriously ill -t their respective homes. Mrs. Mary J. Oldroyd is visiting with relatives in Provo. A large number of Fountain Green people attended the 49'er call which was held last Friday and Saturday evenings in Moroni. Mrs. Amy Samuels entertained the following club members at her home last Monday afternoon, in honor of her birthday anniversary: Lizzie Oldroyd. Vera Johnson, Geneva Gen-eva Madsen, Leona Mower, Zelda Holrr..an, Nettie Bigler, Emma Williams, Wil-liams, Geneva Oldroyd, Florence Green, Lucy Christiansen. Delicious Delic-ious refreshments were served. 'Ivan V. Rasmussen returned home this week from Excelsior Springs, Misouri, where he has been receiving ' medical attention for the past month. He is feeling much improved. Mrs. lone Coombs returned home Tuesday from Salt Lake City where she has been receiving medical treatment for the past three weeks. Mrs. Myrth Oldroyd entertained the "Select" club at her home Thursday evening, March 3rd. The evening was spent playing Progressive Pro-gressive Rook. High score prize was won by Mrs. Blanche Barent-sen, Barent-sen, and consolation by Mrs. Mer-lene Mer-lene Collard. A delicious luncheon was served. A surprise party was given in honor of Bertha Christiansen, the retiring president of the Literary Club on her birthday, last Sunday evening. Luncheon was served to sixteen members. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Smyth motored here from Manti to attend the party. The Literary Club met at the home of Mrs. Bertha Christiansen on February 23rd. The old officers were released and the club was reorganized re-organized with Lilly M. Robertson, Robert-son, president; Linda Allred and Ar.nie Jensen as aids, and Sarah Augason, secretary-treasurer.
