Show Mrs. Andrew Marx Is Dead Following a Brief Illness; Funeral Monday Mrs. Annie Syndergaard Marx, 60 years of age and the wife of Andrew An-drew Marx, passed away at nine o'clock o'-clock this Friday evening of pneumonia, pneu-monia, following a brief illness which started Tuesday afternon. Mrs. Marx was born in Mt. Pleasant Plea-sant March 14, 1873, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter J. Syndergaard. Synder-gaard. She had spent most of her life in this community, excepting for several years immediately following fol-lowing her marriage to Mr. Andrew Marx, April 20, 1897, when she lived at Moroni and Wales. Surviving are the husband; three sons, Shirley, Theron and Wesley; two daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Larsen, and Mrs. Cecil Reynolds; eight grandchildren; two brothers, J. C. and Lars Syndergaard; two sisters, Mrs. W. K. Peterson and Mrs. Chris-tena Chris-tena Wooisey; one half-sister, Mrs. Caroline Christensen; two half-brothers, half-brothers, Joseph and Wllford Syndergaard, Syn-dergaard, all of Mt. Pleasant. Mrs. Marx had enjoyed good health during most of her life, and her fatal illness came as a severe se-vere shock to her family and friends. Shs was a faithful member of the L. D. S. Church. Funeral services will be held at .2 p. m. Monday, February 19, in the South ward chapel, with Bishop Bish-op A. L. Peterson in charge. Burial will be in the city cemetery, under direction of the Jacobs Mortuary. |
