Show I I FOUNTAIN GREEN ' ! By Special Correspondence Mr. and Mrs. Fermin Brady and baby of Kemmerer, Wyo., and Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Anderson and baby of Standardville are visiting with relatives here this week. They are both daughters of Hyrum N. Hansen. Han-sen. Mr. Brady has been transferred by the company for which he is employed, and now lives at Spanish Fork, Utah. Born to Mr. and Mrs. Lee Storey of Moroni, February 6, a boy. The mother was formerly Mrs. Roeine Carver and they are at present with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Livingston. Liv-ingston. Born to Mr. and Mrs. Howard Bar-entson, Bar-entson, February 2nd, a girl. The Primary Stake dance last Friday evening was a big success, and was enjoyed by everyone. The one holding the lucky number for the bedspread was Mrs. Mable Olson. Ol-son. Mrs. A. H. Allred went to Center-fleld Center-fleld last week to attend the Green and Gold Ball where her granddaughter, grand-daughter, Doris, daughter of Mi-, and Mrs. A. F. Allred, was queen. She returned home this week. ' i Charles R. Coombs is still at the Dice Hospital, where he was operated oper-ated on for appendicitis over two weeks ago. He was recovering when other complications set in and he 's in a very critical condition, but it is heped by his many friends that he will soon recover. Herman Blackett, who is suffering suffer-ing from a stroke of about two months ago, is very slightly improved im-proved and in a very weakened condition. They are at present with his relatives at Nephi, and every one wishes him a complete recovery. Mr. and Mrs. William Rickenbach and young baby are visitinng wiVi her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Hansen. The local Primary held a dance on Lincoln's birthday which was very well attended. The M Men and Gleaners Banquet Ban-quet was held Wednesday evening at Municipal Hall and was a very successful affair. It consisted of a i splendid program with Lynn Ras-mussen Ras-mussen conducting and Max Livingston Liv-ingston as master of ceremonies. ' The speech of welcome was by the Young Men's president, Mont Madson. Two numbers were sung by the M Men's chorus: Lowell Old-royd, Old-royd, John Llewellyn, Arvin Anderson, Ander-son, Loren Crowther and Kelly Christensen. Clair Collard gave a comic reading; read-ing; Anna Crane and Victoria Yor-gason Yor-gason a comic stunt. The Gleaner Girls chorus sang two numbers. A vocal duet was given by Randall Christiansen and DeVere Johnson; a vocal solo by Urban S. Madson; a violin sclo by Lawrence Sardoni and a string duet number by Reid Green and Glen Hansen. Anna Cook, President of the Ycung Ladies, gave a response. An elaborate hot chicken dinner was then served, after which dancing wa- enjoyed at the Amusement hall. The Gleaner Girls' chorus members mem-bers are: Ilene Oldroyd, Fern Bar-cntscn, Bar-cntscn, Jean Crowther, Velma Christensen, Chris-tensen, Geraldine Allred, Athalie Johnson, Ora Livingston and Oleta Allred. |
