Show Leland Shepherd and Kolstrom Brothers Find Rich Mine Near Eureka What is universally declared to be one of the best surface showings if not the best yet discovered in the Tlntic mining district is a rich lead-silver lead-silver field recently unearthed about six miles north of the Tintic Standard, Stand-ard, near Eureka, by Leland Shepherd Shep-herd and John and Emil Kolstrom, all of Mt. Pleasant. "Shep' " said today that their claims include about 200 acres of ground, and that all of the engineers who have examined the properties have been loud in their praises. Offers Off-ers to buy have been made, he added, add-ed, but the local men think so much of their holdings that they have declined to sell, preferring to carry on their own development -work. They have been prospecting and working their claims in that vicinity vicin-ity since last April, Shepherd said. |
