Show ELEMENTARY SCHOOL NEWS Last Wednesday evening Principal Prin-cipal Donna O. Ash entertained the personnel of the Grovecrest School, their partners and other special guests at a lawn dinner party. Covers were lai dfor 43. Special guests were Supt. and Mrs. Alma P. Burton, Director and Mrs. Lloyd B. Adamson, Supervisor Su-pervisor and Mrs. Elliott Howe, Board member Niels Fugal, Supervisors Su-pervisors Margaret Johnson and Alice Parker and Spanish instructor instruc-tor Rulon Biimhall. Also present was Hawaiian exchange principal Alice Reed of the Westmore School. Mrs. Ash was assisted by Mrs. Owen Ash, Mrs. Beth Stott, Mrs. Nina Hunter and Miss Pauline Ash. ESN An opening assembly was held Tuesday morning at Grovecrest School for everyone. All teaching and non-teaching personnel were introduced to the students. Students Stu-dents new to Grovecrest from out of town and other schools were especially welcomed. ESN Grounds at the Grovecrest School are currently being prepared prepar-ed for seeding to lawn grass. ESN The Central School PTA will be hosts at a social and openhouse this evening, Thursday, Sept. 6, at 7 p.m. Parents and other friends of the Central School are invited to meet the teachers and make an inspection tour of the new addition to the school. Refreshments will ESN Principal Calvin Walker and teachers of Central School wish to extend thanks to Boardi Member Mem-ber Niels Fugal, the contractors and the custodians. Their hard work and efficiency in getting the school ready for the opening day is greatly appreciated. |
