Show University of Utah Students Will Register Sept. 21-22 I New classroom facilities and I dormitories and a new Union Build-ling Build-ling will greet University of Utah students when the new school year opens Sept. 24 in Salt Lake City. Dr. A. Ray Olpin, University of Utah president, announced that regitsration for entering freshmen is scheduled Sept. 20. Continuing students and transfer students will register Sept. 21-22, and classwork begins Monday, Sept. 24. Students attending the state university uni-versity will study under a faculty of more than 600 members, one of the finest in the nation. Expanded class offerings are scheduled in all of the 12 major colleges of instruction. In full use for the first time this year will be Ballif Hall men's dormitory, which offers modern rooming and boarding facilities for more than 300 men students. Scheduled for completion in October Oc-tober is the new $2 million student stu-dent Union Building, being built entirely with student funds. The Union Building contains extensive recreation facilities, food services, student offices and many other features. It is expecte dto become the campus center of student activity. ac-tivity.
