Show 24 YEARS In the Review From the Files of the Review Friday, September 2, 1932 Jean Christensen, 11-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Rebuen Chris-tensen Chris-tensen received a broken nose and multiple cuts and bruises when struck by an automobile Monday morning. On his way home from taking the family cows to the pasture, he stepped out from behind a wagon into the path of an automobile di'iven by Lawrence Farr. Mr. Fan-was Fan-was exonerated of all blame. 24 Years Ago Pleasant Grove's schools will open for the 1932-33 year on Tues- day, September 6. Central School Cynthia Lar-sen, Lar-sen, Leone Told, Emma Bush, El-wbod El-wbod Baxter, Lacy White, Juana Taylor and Marjorie Holdaway. 24 Years Ago Thomas Fenton Jr. and Miss Beth Kirk were married Monday by Bishop David B. Thorne. The ceremony was performed at the Fenton home. 24 Years Ago H. C. Robertson of the Arrowhead Arrow-head service station has been attending at-tending a school for station operators oper-ators at Salt Lake City. 24 Years Ago Mr. and Mrs. Lealand Clark had as their guests this -week, Mrs. Clark's parents and brother, Mr. and Mrs. Cooper and son Frank of Whiterocks, Utah. 24 Years Ago The Pleasant Grove Baseball team beat a D&RG railroad team 5 to 3 in a game played here last Wednesday afternoon. Tim Richards, pitcher for the Berry Pickers, struck cut 7 of the Salt Lalcers, while Milt Kirk, Lea Christiansen Chris-tiansen and others batted in the 5 runs which won the game. 24 Years Ago The Salt Lake and Utah (Orem) line advertises "Trains Every Hour On the Hour In an Hour."
