Show Maps Available at City Hall To Show Proposed Streets and Drives in Pleasant Grove City Many costly errors and waste of land and money may be averted if people who expect to buy building build-ing lots and construct homes will avail themselves of a new public service provided by Pleasant Grove City. At considerable expense the city has secured four huge aerial maps of the northeast, southeast, southwest south-west and northwest portions of the city. Using these maps and the contours con-tours of the land as a guide, Planning Plan-ning Engineer Dale Despain has sketched in prospective drives and streets as a help to future residential resi-dential development. Mr. Despain's plan has received the official approval of the Mayor and City Council and thus becomes a definite guide for the location of future homes and business establishments. es-tablishments. According to the present building build-ing regulations, no building permits per-mits will be issued until prospective prospec-tive builders visit the city hall and study the maps now available, and clear the site with building inspector inspec-tor Harold Smith. Mr. Smith will be in his office at the City Hall Monday through Friday from 1 to 2 p.m. "A perusal peru-sal of these maps will prove both interesting and enlightening to all our citizens," said Mr. Smith Tuesday Tues-day afternoon. These pictures and the work of Mr. Despain reveal the exceptional possibilities of Pleasant Grove as an ideal residence resi-dence area, he added. |
