Show DUP to Work on Relic Hall Repairs At a recent meeting of the Captains Cap-tains of the four local camps of Daughters of Utah Pioneers held at the Relic Hall, it was decided that the building- needed some repairs. re-pairs. Under the leadership of the relic chairman, Lucile H. Walker, and Gertrude Richards, Cora At-wood, At-wood, Lottie Carlson, Priscilla Christianson, Alice Deveraux, Thel-ma Thel-ma Harris they assemmbled there Wednesday and painted benches. A bake sale will be sponsored by the four camps, Manila, with Captain Cap-tain Cora Atwood; Lindn, Captain Delia Smith, Pleasant Grove, Priscilla Pris-cilla Christianson and Battle Creek with Vivian Evans. The sale will be held Sept. 14 at the Pleasant Grove Community Fair. Proceeds will go to defray expense of repairing re-pairing the relic hall. At 2 p.m. on that day the four camps will hold their Pioneer Birthday party in the relic hall. 3:30 until 5:30 open house will be held in the Relic Hall and Log Cabin. The public is cordiallv in- vifced to atttend. The 2 p.m. program will be conducted by Priscilla Christian-son, Christian-son, Captain of Pleasant Grove Camp. Musical numbers will be provided by Pleasant Grove Camp. Pioneer lesson will be given by Lindon Camp. A history of the old Order Hall, the Relic Hall, and Log Cabin, will be given by Battle Creek Camp. A tribute to Pioneers will be given by Manila Camp. |
