Show Lindon Locals Confined at home and in bed, but rapidly gaining strength after a recent heart attack, is Mrs. Elizabeth Eliz-abeth Millar Wilson. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Walker and Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Neilson motored to Preston, Idaho, Saturday Satur-day where they attended the open house celebrating the 80th birthday birth-day anniversary of Mrs. Walker's uncle, Charles Gilbert, a pioneer of Fairview. Former Lindon residents, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Shaver, now making mak-ing their home in Arco, Idaho, had as week-end guests Lindonites Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Walker. On their way to the LDS hospital hospi-tal in Salt Lake City enter their three-year-old daughter Gayle, for treatment of a serious ailment, Mr. and Mrs. Moyle Blackham of Mororni dropped! in to see Mrs. Blackham's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Walker. Week-.end guests at the George H. Taylor home were their son, Dr. Walter Taylor and wife, Naomi, Nao-mi, from Roy, Utah; and their daughter, Polly Burnham, and her husband Grant K. and their children, child-ren, Dennis and Annette from Salt Lake City. Dennis and Annette, spent a good share of the summer with their grandmother and grandfather Taylor. The Don B. Walkers are happy to have their two and one-half year old' daughter, Bebra, at home with them again. "Bebbie" underwent under-went major surg'ery at a Salt Lake City hospial where she was confined con-fined for two months. She is gradually grad-ually regaining her strength and is able to walk again. The children of Don C. Clayton honored their father recently with gifts on his birthday anniversary at his and his wife home in Orem. Sharing refreshments and remin-escing remin-escing over old times were Messrs and Mesdames Verl Christiansen of Lindon, Donald Clayton, Walter Pine, Carlos Clayton all of Orem, and Kenner Clayton and Max Johnson of Provo. Miss Pearl Stanton was also present at the party. Among the 65 family members attending an early Thanksgiving Day dinner celebration which preceded pre-ceded a farewell program for Harold Har-old Hansen were Harold's cousin, Nina Hunter, her husband, Bill, and their seven children, Joyce, Gary, Billy, Leon, Glen, Deanne, and David. Given at the home of an aunt, Mrs. Valton Mortensen of Ephraim, the dinner honored Harold, Har-old, who is leaving shortly on an LDS Mission to the Southern States. From Ogden to Lindon last week 2nd came Howard and Gladys Ch-'stiansen with their sons, Clifford, Clif-ford, David, and Paul, and Paul's wife, Janet. Some of them were house guests at Joe and Hazel Christiansens while others were guests at Verl and Emma Chris-' Chris-' tiansens, but all ten of them enjoyed en-joyed visiting as well as going on a pheasant hunt together. |
