Show Ci f 1 I 'I f 1 MAX D." HARPER Max D. Harper Buick Salesman A recent announcement by Paul L. Harmon, manager of the Buick and Pontiac Sales Agency of American Am-erican Fork, is to the effect that Max D. Harper has joined the company staff as a salesman. Mr. Harper was the former owner own-er and operator of the M and H Market in Pleasant Grove for the past four years. He is a 1942 graduate of the Pleasant Grove High School, and attended college at the Brigham Young University for two and one half years. During the period 1947-49 1947-49 he filled a mission for the LDS Church in the Northern States. During World War II he spent two years in the Army Air Force, serving actively in the United States and Italy. Max has always been busy in the religious and civic life of his home town. He has served in the Elders Quorum, the Sunday School, the Chamber of Commerce, the Fire Department and the American Legion. Le-gion. He married Helen Young of Mayport, Pennsylvania, after a courtship which began at the BYU The marriage took place in the Salt Lake Temple, March 14, 1951. They have three children, Elenna, 3; Billie, 20 months; and Michael, 9 months. |
