Beck En Salt Lake City Temple Rites One of the very fine and classic affairs of the late fall was the wedding reception honoring Helen Hel-en Olson and Keith Beck, in the American Fork First Ward Amusement Am-usement hall, Nov. 20. The young couple were married earlier in the. day in the Salt Lake LDS temple. tem-ple. The popular bride is the daughter daugh-ter of Joseph Olson of this city, and the groom the son of Mrs. Lay Beck and the late Lay Beck. In the receiving line were the bride and groom, the brides father, the f rooms mother, matron of honor, the brides sister, Mrs. Donald Don-ald Crookston, and other attendants, attend-ants, Mrs. Max Beck. Mrs. Donald EocU, Mrs. Wayne McDaniei and Miss Louise V.'est. Max Brek served ser-ved as best man for his brother. Pretty little flower r irl was Jove Lynn Beck. The attractive bride received relatives and f: icntls in a gown of shimmering satin, fashioned with a full skirt, lace bodicc-and long lace sleeves. Her full length sheer veil, fell from a neatly fashioned lace cap. She carried a bouquet of roses centered with a large orchid. Her attendants were attractively attractive-ly attired in pastel formals, and held harmonizing bouquets. Receiving guests at the door were Mr. and Mrs. K. Warnick Swcnson, Mr. . and Mrs. Thayne Bateman. At the guest book was Mrs. Cai'l Chipman. A. P. Warnick, as master of ceremonies cleverly introduced the program numbers. Mis. Dona!''. Arza Adams and Mrs. Pay mond G. Robinson were hoste ;sc; in the serving room. Pouring at thr attractive table were Mrs. S. Dilwortn Young, Mrs. Don Mack Dalton and Mrs. L. M. Atwood, assisted as-sisted by Mrs. Alee Wadlcy and Mrs. Hal Haycock. ' , n demurs of Timpanogos Stake served. They were Mrs. Paul Chrislofi'erson, Miss Eloise Richards, Rich-ards, Mrs! Ed. Roberts, Mrs. Bob rr-ord, LP- ;. Lugene B. zzant, and Mrs. Cloyd Christiansen. Arranging the unusual gift display dis-play were Mrs. Dorothy Evans, Mrs. Millen Fowler, Mrs. Bert Evans, Ev-ans, Mrs. H. V. Evans, Mrs. Harold Keotc'i. Receiving gifts .were Margaret Mar-garet Olson, Myrna Monson and Doris Wadky. The popular young couple exchanged ex-changed nuptial vows Thursday morning in the Salt Lake LDS temple with Harold B. Lee of the Council of Twelve officiating. Witnessing Wit-nessing the impressive ceremony were the grooms mother, and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Beck and Mrs, Max Beck. The newlyweds are currently honeymooning in California and after their return home will establish es-tablish themselves in Alpine. |
