Show Louise Ostergaard Weds In Church Ceremony; Reception Held Saturday Following the lovely marriage ceremony in which the father gave away the bride, Louise Ostergaard, Os-tergaard, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. N. Ostergaard of Lindon and Harry B. Bartley, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Bartley of Tenafly, N.J., which was held on Saturday evening in the Lindon Ward Relief Society room, a well appointed reception was held in the recreation hall. Patriarch David Dav-id B. Thorne solemnized the rites against the background of candlelights candle-lights and a bank of white chrysanthemums. chrys-anthemums. The bride was resplendent in an imported chantilly lace and satin gown, a juliet cap with seed pearl trim held her fingertip veil of illusion. She carried a bouquet of red roses and white orchids. The maid of honor, Miss Joan Wadley and little Lowry Ostergaard Oster-gaard as flower girl wore identical gowns of nylon net and tulle over yellow satin. The bridesmaids, Miss Utahna Walker, Sherril Stevens and Anna Beth Atwood, wore autumn shades of net over satin. Representing the grooms par ents in the line were best man and his wife. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Moog of Salt Lake City. Mrs. Moog choose a rose colored gown. The brides mother chose a floor length print jersey. Both wore corsages of carnations and gardenias. gar-denias. Mr. and Mrs. Mack Ostergaard and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Ostergaard were assisted by Walt Lewis in greeting and receiving the guests. C. W. Nelson of American Fork an uncle of the bride, was master of ceremonies. Elwood Allen and Lydia Hilton gave a vocal number "O Promise Me." Utahna Walker rendered a piano selection "Thru the Years." Erma Tomlinson gave the toast to the bride and groom. The bride chose a Lilli Ann original or-iginal with brown accessories for her going away suit. The young couple will go to Colorado, where the groom will receive his dis-char;j3 dis-char;j3 from the army. They will honrrnoo.i for a month thru the South before going to New Jersey Jer-sey where they will make their home. The groom is a graduate of Princeton University and will resume re-sume iiis work from there. |
