Show LOCAL NEWS Bishop and Mrs. Calvin Walker are rejoicing over the birth of a son at the Am. Fork hospital on Nov. 7. Mr. and Mrs. Orville Caldwell and family of Vernal were visitors this week with Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Ger-ald Caldwell. The Timpanogos Stake Mission will give its regular broadcast over KCSU Sunday, Nov. 18 at 5 p. m. Thelma Adamson will speak and her subject will be: "What is the Gospel?" Aftoh Atkinson is in charge of the music for the broadcast. Variety Club held their last meeting with Mrs. Cecil Bullock. The rooms and small luncheon tables were gay with late autumn flowers. Following the tasty refreshments re-freshments the guests played Rook. Members present were: Mesdames Howard Warnick, Charles Char-les Harper, Harold Armitstead, Willis Larson, LaVell Boren, Wm. Hunter, Reed Orton, Reed Halli-day, Halli-day, Elvin Carson, Robert Oscar-son. |
