Show Sytha Johnson Is Speaker At Cadmus Meeting Cadmus Club members and guests met Monday evening at the home of Ella Jackson for their regular meeting. Special guests were Wilma Hales and her mother. moth-er. Miss Hales was one of the delegates sent to Girls' State this past summer, Cadmus Club was one of the sponsors. Wilma expressed ex-pressed appreciation for the privilege privi-lege of going and gave the club a most enlightening report on the activities carried on during the week. Cummorah Cullimore reported on the Legislative Council meeting that she has attended. Rose Hillman, chairman of the Educational Committee introduced Sytha Johnson, as one of the peo- pie who was acquainted as well as working on problems of Utah County. After Sytha's scholarly discussion those hearing her knew that Utah County had problems true, but that her knowledge of world affairs as astounding. The club members are very proud of Sytha and pleased that she is so gracious and capable to represent them in the many activities and organizations that she works in and with. The next meeting will be held at the home of Ina Page on Nov. 26th, at which time Carol Wells will review "The Plymouth Adventure." |
