Show Turkish Delegation Entertained At Arza Adams Home Members of the delegation from Turkey that spent last Thursday in Utah county inspecting- FFA, agricultural projects and a number num-ber of, local fruit farms, ended their day's activities by being served ser-ved lunch at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. Arza Adams. The visitors from Turkey were served smoked turkey and fried turkey, along with the other tasty delicacies -which made up the lunch. Following the lunch the delegation;; delega-tion;; spent two hours visiting at the Adams home, where they talked talk-ed flhout their homes, their families, fam-ilies, and the country. Tin? Turkish delegation are all prominent men who are touring the United States, getting acquainted acquain-ted with the way Americans do things in agriculture. The names and positions these men hold are: Kemal Gokcora, Assistant General Director of Agriculture, Ag-riculture, Ministry of Agriculture, Ankara, Turkey. Kadri Ongen, Section Director at the Ministry of Agriculture. Hamdi Tuncer, Director of Horticultural Horti-cultural School, Gebze, Turkey. Hasan Yetener, Director of Agricultural Agri-cultural School, Konya, Turkey. Ismail Ergcne, Assistant Director Direc-tor of the Horticultural School, Mersin, Turkey. Others present at the lunch were Elvin Downs, Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Willis Banks, and Wallace Wal-lace Saling. |
