Show Polling Places Are Selected For Steelworkers Polling places and the voting hours for the Union Security election ele-ction to be held Dec. 5 and 6 at Geneva Steel Company have been announced by Ronal S. Bills, Representative for the United Steelworkers of America. The election will involve 4,000 I production and maintenance workers work-ers at the Geneva, Ironton, and Cedar City installations of the Geneva Steel Company. The Company the Union have agreed on the locations for six polling places to be set up in the Geneva Plant and one each at the Ironton and Cedar City properties. propert-ies. The voting hours on each of the two days will be from 6:30 a. m. to 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p. m. to 5:30 p. m. with the exception of Polling Place No. 4 at Geneva where an extra hour, 7:30 p. m. to 8:30 p. m. will be provided for each of the two days. Approximately 300 Geneva Steel employees in the Pleasant Grove area will be involved in thej election. - I |
