Show Rosalyn Stark Becomes Mrs. Darrell Beveridge In an impressive ceremony in the Salt Lake LDS temple, Friday morning, Roslyn Stark became the bride of Darrell Beveridge. With President Burton officiating the service was performed in the presence pre-sence of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Stark of Orem, the groom's mother, Mrs. Mary Beveridge of Pleaasnt Grove; Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Veleto, Mrs. Rex Walker, Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Beveridge and Mrs. Zelma Pro-vort. Pro-vort. On Monday evening Mr. and Mrs. Stark honored the young couple at a beautifully arranged reception in the Windsor ward recreation re-creation hall. Greeting friends before a bank of pom pom chrysanthemums, ferns, fer-ns, and gleaming candelebra, were the bride and groom, their parents, par-ents, matron of honor Mrs. Rex Walker; atending matrons Mrs. Wayne Peay and Mrs. Darwin Veleto and bridesmaids Elizabeth Poulson and Sidney Young, with Wayne Peay assuming the duties of best man. The youthful bride was singularly singul-arly attractive in white satin, fashioned with fitted bodice, low neckline, and long sleeves, the full skirt ending in a long train. Her fingertip, lace trimmed net veil fell from a dainty crown of organ-ge organ-ge blossoms. She carried a bridal bouquet of gardenias and red roses. Her attendants wore formals in pastel shades, and carried nosegays nose-gays of chrysantemums. Both fnother wore dark gowns on which they pinnned corsages featuring white chrysantemums. Meeting guests at the door were Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Bullock. Miss Jeannine Johsnon handled the guest book. Ushers were LaMar Beveridge, Darwin Veleto and John Swenson. Rex Walker, as master of ceremonies, cere-monies, introduced the -program: Vocal duet, "My Hero," Wilma and Nadine Hales, accompanied by their mother,; vocal solo, "Be-Icause," "Be-Icause," Dee Olpin; three numbers by the Provo Lions Quartette, and a clever toast to the newly-weds by Miss Estelle Fenton. Arranging the gift display were Mrs. Robert Brown, Mrs. Otten Whiteley, and Mrs. Harold Heely. Receiving the gifts at the door were young Kenneth and Paul Brown, Kathleen Bullock and Kar-olyn Kar-olyn Walker. In charge of refreshments were Mrs. Wm. Parcell, Mrs. George Long, Mrs. David Jenkins, and Mrs. Theron Whiteley. Young ladies serving were Misses Miss-es LaRae Whiteley, Mary Long, Wilma Hales, Joan Kirk. The newlyweds have established their home in the M. D. Radmall apartment on 1st west street, in Pleasant Grove. |
