Show 'Little Women' To Be Presented ,At High School on December 7th The play "Little Women," under un-der the direction of Maude Jacobs and student director, Cleo Culli-more, Culli-more, will be presented at the Pleasant Grove High School on Thursday, December 7th, at 8:00 p. m. It is an' a"daption from the well known book, "Little Women." A comedy-drama consisting of four acts. The play is centered around the lovable March girla: Meg. (Jean Pulley) the eldest daughter, ladylike and motherly; Jo, (JoAnn Roundy) the tom-boy of the family with a yearning towards to-wards writing; Beth (Joan Lipscomb) Lip-scomb) the little peace-maker and musician; and Amy (Carol Smith) the artistic lady-like member mem-ber of the family. This play is clean and wholesome whole-some .telling a sentimental-awaking tale in a simple and yet effective effec-tive manner. It imparts entertainment entertain-ment without offending our sense of propriety and good taste, and gives us amusement of a beautiful kind, delivering its message of hope and cheer in a way that cannot but impart beneficial thots and send up from the theatre with a higher opinion of humankind human-kind than we had when we entered. |
