Show i P. G. Jaycees iHold Annual Deer Steak Fry Pleasant Grove Jaycees held their annual deer steak fry last Friday evening at the ranger's station. Activities of the evening besides consuming a delicious dinner din-ner were deer hunting stories told by members. George McNees won first prize for the best story; Dean Atwood won second prize. Jaycee state vice president JDave Whitesides was the guest speaker, and told of many advantages of being a Jaycee and stated that a young man had not completely rounded out his life until, he had willfully given service to his community com-munity without pay. Members present were: Clifton Wadley, David Green, Dean Atwood, At-wood, Kayle Clawson, Geo. McNees, Mc-Nees, Calvin Mills, Hal Haycock, ' Fred Keetch, Elden Robinson, Don Stubbs, Harvey Hippach. Invited guests: Lloyd West, Kayle Sjoberg, and forest ranger Wallace Saling. Jaycees wish to thank Harvey Hippach, Dean Atwood and Fred Keetch for furnishing the steaks. They also thank Ranger Saling for his contribution in helping to make the party a success. |
