Show Modernettes Are Entertained By Their Mothers One of the very enjoyable parties par-ties of the past week was that held at the home of Mrs. Vern Gillman in Vineyard, where the mothers of the Modernette Club girls, entertained said ladies at a well prepared turkey dinner, and presented each daughter with a small potted plant. For entertainment of the group Mrs. Alice Harding gave humorous humor-ous readings and Janet Maxfield ind Jeanne Chipman, did tap and ballet dancing. Enjoying the very pleasant affair af-fair were Mrs. Vern Gillman and her daughter Virginia Chipman; Mrs. May R. Walker, her daughter daugh-ter Naomi Walker; Mrs. Ethel Fenton, her daughter Beth McNees; Mc-Nees; Mrs. Fuller, her daughter, Lois Smith; Mrs. E. J. Swenson, her daughter, Mildred Fefre; Mrs. Delia Smith, her 'niece Maxene West; Mrs. Jolley, her daughter Pearl Fowle; Mrs. Reuben Tom-linson, Tom-linson, her niece Alta Noble; Mrs. C. R.
