First H. S. Basketball Practice Held Monday Val Gaisford, Athletic Reporter. Coach Ingersoll was well pleased last Monday, when his eyes rested upon twenty-five enthusiastic candidates candi-dates out for the high school basketball basket-ball team. The boys were all anxious anx-ious to start right to work. The coach is teaching an almost new type of basketball than has been taught in previous years shooting accurately accur-ately from almost any position, left or right handed, tricky passing and floor work all make a splendid and very dangerous team. All that at. tended the first practice seemed well pleased with the workout and it is reported that several more men are coming out within the next few days-
