Show Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Coddingtou j were business visitors in the capitol city on Wednesday. Wendell Noyes left yesterday morning for Los Angeles, California, where he will visit indefinitely. Mr. and Mrs. F. M. Houston visited in Provo with, their daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Francis Hutchings, on Thanksgiving day. Mr- and Mrs. J. A. Glazier and daughter, Edna, of Salt Lake City, visited Sunday in American Fork with. Mr. anj Mrs. William Shumway and family. Mr. and Mrs. L. R. Dunkley and three children of Salt Lake City, were guests here Thanksgiving day at the home of Mr. Dunkley's parents Mr. and Mrs- J. L. Dunkley. Leo Nelson, who is athletic coach at the Rigby high school in Idaho, arrived here Thanksgiving day to visit until Sunday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Niels Nelson. Mrs. Robert Walker left the latter part of last week for Caliente, Nevada, Neva-da, where she will spend the winter with her daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. F. F. Dewey. I- Mrs. William Leffler of Provo, was a guest at the Vern Walker home on Thanksgiving day. Miss Ruby Steele left Sunday for Salt Lake City, to spend the week, the guest of Miss Fern Downey. Howard Paxman, John H. Miller and Harry Norris were business visitors visi-tors in Salt Lake last Friday. Mr. and Mrs- C. Jx Eddy spent Thanksgiving day in Salt Lake City, the guests of relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Chadwick, Mrs. Grace Barratt and Mrs. Grace Coates were among the Salt Lake visitors last Saturday. Mr. an,j Mrs. Kenneth Brown and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Brown motored to Salt Lake City on Thanksgiving day, and attended the play "What A Woman Wants" at the Playhouse theatre. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dunkley and Mr. and Mrs. Morris Hardy an,j spall daughter of Salt Lake City, spent Sunday here visiting with Mrs. Hannah. Han-nah. Dunkley and Miss Cady Dunkley. Dunk-ley. Mr. and Mrs. John Devey had as their Thanksgiving day dinner guests their sons and wives, Mr. and Mrs. Martell Devey and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Devey and daughter of Salt Lake City, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Carroll a-nd two children of Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Orville Childs of this city entertaine at a turkey supper sup-per Saturday evening in Springville at the G. W. Mendenhall home. Covers Cov-ers were marked for thirty Invited guests, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Mendenhall Mend-enhall from this city being among those present. Miss Eileen Chipman in company with Mr. and Mrs. E- A. Colbertson and Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Culbertsoa of Salt Lake City attended the annual annu-al football game between the U. A. C. and the U. of U. in Salt Lake on Thanksgiving Day. Following the game, they motored to this city, where they were guests at a delicious delici-ous dinner at the home of Miss Chip-man's Chip-man's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ruben Chipman. A meeting was held at the home of Mrs. T. A. Greenwood, a member of the First Ward Community Activity Activi-ty committee, last Friday evening at which time a cast was selecte(j for 'the cojning First ward play "Are You a Mason?", to be produced in the very near future. Many First ward favorites are included in the ' cast, and have been suitably selected ' for their respective roles. Watch for j further announcements. |
