Show Blanch Chipman Dies at Salt Lake Miss Blanch Chipman, 74, daughter daugh-ter of one of the founders of American Ameri-can Fork and for many years a resident of Salt Lake died ti & morri ing at the home of her brother-in-law, Thomas M. Holt, 170 F street, Salt Lake, following a lingering illness ill-ness resulting from a severe fall several months ago. She had made her home with the Holt family since Mr. Holt married her sister in 1879. She was born May 2, 1859, the daughter of Stephen and Phoebe Davis Chipman, at American Fork, and lived here until going to Salt Lake to make her home. She has been an active church member in the Twentieth ward during her long residence there. Surviving are one brother, Stephen D. Chipman, American Fork, her brother-in-law, Mr. Holt, Salt Lake, and the following follow-ing neices and nephews: Gladys Holt, Mrs. Bertha H. Haas, Edith C. Anderson, Mabel C. Reese, Bernice C. Lloyd, Marie C. Thomas, S. Roy, Auburn and Davis Chipman, all of Salt Lake; Bernard M. Christcnsen, Blanche C. Tattersall, Bernice C. Giddings, Harold Chipman and Lu-cian Lu-cian Crandall, all of American Fork; Ethel H. Stack of Provo, Blanche H. Nielsen of Spanish Fork and John S. Christensen, Cedar City. Funeral services will be held commencing at 12:15 p. m. to-day (Friday) in the Twentith ward chapeL Salt Lake City. Friends may call at the Holt home from 10 to 11:30 a. m. this morning. Interment will be made in the Wasatch Lawn Burial Park, Salt Lake. |
