Ten Years Ago Now A severe hail storm struck Fort canyon above Alpine last week and did considerable damage to the strawberry, apple, cherry, etc crojjs. Tire hail stones were as large as, marbles and hard as lead and came with such force as to make dents in , the sides of barns as they struck, I Ten Years Ago Now I One was killed and three injured near Orem when the auto driven by Asa Hoffman of Wilkcs-Barrc, Pcnn., j struck a culvert and turned over. 'Mrs. Margaret Ycager, 7G, was killed instantly, her husband, Harvey Yea-ger, Yea-ger, 78, her daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Huffman, were severely injured. The party was enroute to California. Hoffman was golnu to pass a machine ahead as the driver turned to go up Frovo canyon. To 1 avoid a collision Hoffman drove off j the pavement and struck the culvert. cul-vert.
