Show u Local Lady Honored By Legion Auxiliary At the convention of the American Amer-ican Legion Auxiliary District No. 4 at Nephi on June 4th, Mrs. Ethel Graff, president of the local Legion Auxiliary was elected president of the District American Legion Auxiliary. Auxil-iary. Mrs. Cupa . Davis, district president, presi-dent, was in charge of the meeting. Present were the department president, presi-dent, Connie Wardsworth, department depart-ment secretary, Gay Warner; Mrs. Algia Baliff and Lottie Worthen, past department presidents; Mrs, Fern Larsen, department vice president pres-ident and junior chairman, who all spoke. Reports of the accomplishments accomplish-ments of the various units were given giv-en by the unit presidents. The election of officers was held at the morning session, at which time Mrs. Graff was elected president pres-ident and Mrs. Marie Nelson of Spanish Fork, vice president. At the afternoon session, which began at 2 o'clock, a program and pageant were presented by members of the Junior Auxiliary of the Provo unit. A vote of thanks for the hospitality and courtesy of the Nephi Ne-phi unit was given by American Fork unit Vice President Pirscilla Murdock. o |
