The approaching marriage of Mrs. Emily Foster was the motif for a delightful tea given at her home Wednesday afternoon. Open house was held between the hours of 2 and 6 p. m. More than 150 friends called call-ed during the afternoon. The hostesses for the affair were Mrs. Leon Whipple, Mrs. Forbes Foster, Mrs. John Beck and Mrs. Clinton Larson. During the afternoon Mrs. Leon Whipple poured with Mrs. Charles joy and Mrs. James White assisting.' assist-ing.' Mrs. John Beck, Mrs. Larson, Mrs. Forbes Foster and Mrs. White received with Mrs. Foster. The entertaining rooms were decorated deco-rated with baskets of pink and white peonies and bowls of pink and white roses. The serving table was covered with a large cloth and centered cent-ered with a bowl of pink and white roses. Musical numbers were rendered rend-ered by Mrs. Harold Chipman, Mrs. Phillip Greene, Mrs. Forbes Foster and Mrs. Florence Jepperson Mad-sen Mad-sen during the afternon.
