Many of the overhead are making mak-ing use of their leisure time along the sunny banks of Beaver creek in an attempt to lure the wary trout from under the shady nooks. So far no one has been too successful. Everyone seems to be confident that when the lakes at the head of Provo open on July 1 they will be able to get a real "mess" of trout. The annual report of activities is being prepared by Advisor Paul B. Murdock for Company 3544 to be sent to Washington, D. C, by July 1. The snow has been removed from the road as far as Mirror lake by ; the "cat" crew. It is expected that ' the boys will be able to push over j the "summit" sometime this week 1 with the road work. A spike camp I has been established at Washington I falls for working on the upper part 01 tne road. Foreman Ivan Hess returned from an extended leave. It was reported that Foreman Adair is recovering from blocd poisoning in a Provo hospital. He has been away now for over three weeks. Company 3544 will lose five junior assistant technicians and semiskilled semi-skilled men at the end of June. It is felt that a severe loss will be noticed no-ticed in camp when these men leave, as they were all very much interested in the training prosrram of the camp, and in various activities. activ-ities. . . |
