Show Dedicatory Program Pro-gram Announced For DeU Theatre Dedicatory services for toe new Mutual Dell amphi-theatre, which has just been completed in American Ameri-can Fork canyon, will be held Wednesday, Wed-nesday, June 30th at toe amphitheatre amphi-theatre under the sponsorship of the U. S. Forest Service, toe three surrounding sur-rounding stakes, Alpine, Lehi, and Timpanogos, and the three cities, American Fork, Lehi and Pleasant Grove. The out-door theatre, which has been constructed just southeast of . the Dell building, is equipped with . a concrete stage which has been pippt.ric.fl.llv lighted and a seating capacity of 800 provided. The entire public is cordially invited in-vited to attend the services on Wednesday. Wed-nesday. The lunch period will be from 6 to 7 p. m. and from 7 to 8 p. m. the American Fork City band, under the direction of Prof. K. J. Bird, will give a concert. At 8 o'clock the following program will be given: Presentation speech, James E. Gurr, superintendent of the Wasatch Forest; response, President Clifford E. Young of the Alpine Stake; Ladies Trio, Anna Fugal, Ellen Nelson and Virginia Jacobs of Pleasant Grove, under the direction of E. A. Beck; trombone solo, E. A. Beck of Pleasant Grove; address, Harrison R. Merrill of the B. Y. U.; two vocal duets, Miss Mildred Mil-dred Chipman and K. J. Bird of American Fork; dance number by Loraine Swenson, Maxine Walker, Margaret Stagg, Leah Stagg, Wlma Greene, Rhea Halliday, Mildred Swenson and Lucy Wadley, under the direction of Margaret Stagg, accompanied ac-companied by Mary Wilson; P-T. A. chorus of Lehi, under the direction of Mrs. June Jorgensen; vocal solo, Joseph Coulam of Lehi; dedicatory prayer, W. W. Warnick, president of the Timpanogos Stake. . O |
