Show Missionary Farewell Fare-well and Home Coming Tuesday A missionary farewell and home coming will be held Tuesday evening, eve-ning, June 29th, in the basement of the Alpine Stake Tabernacle. Clifford Clif-ford E. Young Jr., son of President and Mrs. Clifford E. Young, who has been called to the German-Austrian German-Austrian mission will be honored as will John W. Brown, of the First ward, son of Mrs. Lillian K. Brown. Mr. Brown recently returned from a German and British mission. A welcome home will also be extended to Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Durrant of the Fourth ward, who returned last week after having spent two years in the Hawaiian mission. Mrs. Durrant was formerly Leola Goates of Lehi. The three returning missionaries and the new missionary will speak as will President Young. An excellent ex-cellent musical program is being arranged by the committee in charge. After the pragram the remaining re-maining time will be spent in dancing-Numbers announced on the musical program yesterday were: violin solo, Milton Brown and cornet cor-net solo, Keith Smith. Tickets for the affair are being sold by the following members of the Stake Missionary committee: Roy Greenwood, Moral D. Steele, Rollo Miller, Terry Draper, Stanley Peters, West Hammond, Thomas Barratt, Frank G. Shelley, Eugene Briggs and Charles Walker. |
