Show Pleasant Grove Locals Miss Jewell Paul left Thursday to visit in California. The B. B. Club met Wednesday with Jennie Fugal, a lesson of cooking cook-ing was given. ! Mr. and Mrs. Claude Burch announce an-nounce the birth of their iirst granddaughter, a baby girl, having been born to Russell and Bessie Burch Mortensen at Provo Monday night, June 21. A granddaughter was bom to Mr. and Mrs. Carl Carlson Tuesday at ; American Fork. Mr. and Mrs. Ralpn Gillispie being the proud parents. The mother was formerly Miss Merle Carlson. Mrs. Rose B. Radmall has been chosen as second counselor to stake President Hedve Christiansen of the primary. Dean Paulson will succeed Mrs. Laura Robertson, who has resigned re-signed after nine years of faithful service as first counselor. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Martin and Mr. and Mrs. Erving Block, have been entertained at many family dinners, canyon parties, etc., the past week. Mr. and Mrs. Junius A West attended at-tended a State Bankers convention at Bryce's canyon Sunday until Tuesday. Mr. West was elected to serve on the Executive Board of the Utah State Bankers Association. Mr. and Mrs. West attended the banquet and dance and also took the three hour sightseeing tour while at : the canyon. Mr. Wanberg is with a photography firm in that far away land and will spend one year in the United States in their service.
